Jets release veteran fullback Tony Richardson (SportingNews.com) - Tony Richardson is out as the Jets' starting fullback -- for now. The team released the 16-year veteran on Sunday in favor of rookie John Conner. Multiple media outlets, however, report Richardson could be re-signed after Week 1. Bills sign TE Martin; claim G Urbik off waivers (AP) - The Buffalo Bills signed tight end David Martin and claimed guard Kraig Urbik off waivers from the Pittsburgh Steelers. Martin is an eight-year NFL veteran who was signed Sunday, a day after having his contract terminated by the Dolphins.
