Packers, Charles Woodson agree on extension (SportingNews.com) - After Jets All-Pro CB Darrelle Revis finally got his big deal Monday, it was a matter of time before the Packers would need to show the green to Sporting News' reigning defensive player of the year. Green Bay did just that Thursday, agreeing to terms with All-Pro CB Charles Woodson on an extension. Woodson signed a five-year contract worth as much as $55 million, according to the Associated Press.
