Atlanta Braves slugger Chipper Jones was activated from the 15-day disabled list and hit a solo homer in Monday's 6-1 win over the San Francisco Giants. He started the game and ended 1-for-4.
Jones had been sidelined since June 6 with an injured ligament in the second toe of his left foot.
The 33-year-old Jones, who was on the DL for the second straight season and the fourth time in his career, is batting .281 with eight home runs and 27 RBI this year.
