Washington Nationals starting pitcher Tony Armas left Monday's 5-4 loss against Colorado due to dizziness and dehydration.
Armas worked an 0-2 count on Byung-Hyun Kim before leaving the contest in the fourth inning. Joey Eischen relieved Armas, who allowed one run on three hits before exiting the game. Eischen allowed two runs on three hits in three innings while fanning two.
The veteran hurler entered the game with a 4-4 mark and a 4.97 ERA. Armas was 1-0 over his last three starts, including a no-decision against the New York Mets on July 7.
