The Philadelphia Phillies announced Sunday that they have activated relief pitcher Geoff Geary from the 15-day disabled list.
Geary had been on the DL since July 9 with an eye contusion. He sustained the injury against Washington the night before when he fouled a ball off the ground and it came back and hit him in the eye.
The 28-year-old righthander is 1-0 with a 4.60 ERA in 19 games this season.
To make room, the Phillies sent reliever Clay Condrey to Triple-A Scranton- Wilkes Barre.
