Chicago White Sox designated hitter/outfielder Carl Everett injured his groin Thursday afternoon against the Toronto Blue Jays.
Everett suffered a strained left groin while caught in a run-down during the 5-4 win and eventually departed the game in the seventh inning. He is expected to miss the next two to three days of action.
The slugger is batting .259 with 16 homers and 63 RBI this season.
