The St. Louis Rams on Wednesday agreed to terms on a five-year contract with tackle Alex Barron, the club's first round selection. As per club policy, terms of the deal were not disclosed.
Barron, who was selected 19th overall in the 2005 NFL Draft, was the first offensive lineman grabbed by the Rams in the first round of the NFL Draft since tackle Orlando Pace in 1997.
At Florida State, Barron earned a pair of All-America honors. The club has now signed or agreed to terms with 10 of their 11 2005 NFL Draft. Guard Richie Incognito, who was a third-round draft pick, is the only unsigned player remaining with the club.
