The St. Louis Cardinals announced Wednesday that righthander Anthony Reyes has been optioned to Triple-A Memphis. Reyes made his major league debut on Tuesday night and the rookie yielded only two runs on two hits over 6 1/3 solid innings in a win versus the Brewers. In other team news, St. Louis recalled outfielder Skip Schumaker from Memphis. Schumaker, who appeared in three games with the Cardinals earlier this season, was hitting .296 with six homers and 30 RBI in with the Redbirds.
