The Cleveland Indians recalled outfielder Jason Dubois from the club's Triple-A affiliate in Buffalo on Sunday. Dubois spent the past 10 days with the Bisons after he was optioned to the minor league team on August 4. In six games with Buffalo, Dubois batted .217 with three homers and seven runs batted in. Acquired from the Chicago Cubs on July 18 for outfielder Jody Gerut, Dubois is hitting .242 with two home runs in 10 games with the Tribe. In a related move, the Indians optioned pitcher Jeremy Guthrie to Buffalo. In his 2005 major league debut on Saturday, Guthrie tossed a team-high six relief innings versus the Devil Rays. He owns a 10-9 record with a 5.20 earned run average in 22 starts for the Bisons this season.
