Cleveland Indians pitcher Jason Davis was optioned to Triple-A Buffalo on Friday. The righthander is 2-1 with a 5.56 ERA in eight games this season. Davis was drafted by the Indians in the 21st round of the 1999 amateur draft. He made his major league debut in 2002 and has compiled a record of 13-19 with a 4.91 ERA in 64 career games. To fill the roster spot, the Indians recalled pitcher Matt Miller from Buffalo. Miller started the season with the Indians and did not allow a run in four appearances before being optioned to Buffalo on April 16.
