The Cleveland Indians activated pitcher Arthur Rhodes from the 15-day disabled list prior to Friday's game against the Minnesota Twins.
Rhodes, who was placed on the DL with soreness in his right knee on August 12th, is 3-1 in 44 appearances this season with a 1.98 earned run average. He has not permitted an earned run in his last eight games.
In other roster moves, the Indians recalled pitchers Andrew Brown and Jeremy Guthrie and outfielder Jason Dubois from Triple-A Buffalo. The club also purchased the contract of infielder/catcher Ryan Garko from Buffalo.
