Toronto Blue Jays pitcher Ted Lilly was activated off the disabled list Tuesday and took the loss in a 5-0 setback to the Baltimore Orioles.
Lilly had been sidelined since July 25 with left biceps tendinitis. He lasted just 2 1/3 innings Tuesday and was charged with three runs on three hits with five walks.
The lefthander fell to 8-10 for the season with a 5.65 earned run average in 21 starts. He also dropped to 3-1 lifetime against the Orioles, who had been the only American League team the lefthander had not lost against.
Lilly also spent time on the DL earlier this season with a shoulder problem.
