The Chicago White Sox activated third baseman Joe Crede off the 15-day disabled list prior to Saturday's 10-5 loss against the LA Angels of Anaheim.
Crede, who had been sidelined since fracturing his right index finger on a bunt attempt against the Twins back on August 25, ended 2-for-3 with an RBI and a run scored.
In 114 games this season, Crede is batting just .236 with 16 homers and 49 RBI for the AL Central-leading White Sox.
