St. Louis Cardinals outfielder Reggie Sanders was activated from the 15-day disabled list on Monday.
Sanders has been out with a fractured fibula in his right leg since colliding with fellow outfielder Jim Edmonds on July 15 while tracking down a fly ball.
The 37-year-old Sanders is hitting .281 with 18 home runs, 44 RBI and 14 stolen bases. With 289 homers and 297 steals in his career, Sanders is on the verge of becoming just the fifth player in major-league history to reach 300 in both categories.
