Medina Garrigues upset top-seeded French crowd favorite Nathalie Dechy in the semifinals, while Domachowska dropped Madagascar's Dally Randriantefy to reach Saturday's final at Ligue d'Alsace de Tennis. The 22-year-old Medina Garrigues also beat the 19-year-old Domachowska in straight sets at Indian Wells earlier this year in their only other career meeting. Medina Garrigues won her third title on the WTA Tour, while Domachowska failed to win her first. Medina Garrigues improved to 3-2 in title matches.
