Florida Marlins third baseman Miguel Cabrera left in the first inning of Wednesday's 5-4 loss to the New York Mets with a knee injury.
Cabrera suffered the problem during his first at-bat after fouling a pitch off of his knee cap. Cabrera couldn't move his left foot, according to manager Jack McKeon, and never took the field in the bottom of the inning.
Cabrera, who is listed as day-to-day, has 32 home runs and 111 RBI this season.
