Minnesota Vikings wide receiver Nate Burleson and safety Darren Sharper missed Sunday's game against New Orleans.
Burleson is ailing with a sprained left knee, while Sharper was sidelined with a calf injury.
Expected to pick up the slack for the departed Randy Moss, Burleson has registered six receptions for 93 yards and no touchdowns in two games this season. The third-year player from Nevada has collected 103 catches for 1,554 yards and 11 scores in his career.
Sharper, meanwhile, has one interception and 10 tackles this season for Minnesota. The 29-year-old veteran, who signed with the Vikings after being released from Green Bay this past offseason, is a two-time Pro Bowl selection.
