The Baltimore Ravens released oft-injured linebacker Peter Boulware on Wednesday.
The move was made after the two sides couldn't come to an agreement on a restructured contract. Boulware was to make a base salary of $6 million over the next four seasons, which would've made him the highest paid player on the team.
Boulware missed a total of 17 games over the last two seasons with the Ravens due to various injuries. He finishes his career with Baltimore as the club's all-time sack leader with 67 1/2 and made four Pro Bowl appearances.
