Englewood, CO (Sports Network) - The Denver Broncos signed unrestricted free agent guard Cameron Spikes on Monday. Terms of the deal were not disclosed.
The 28-year-old Spikes spent the past two seasons with the Arizona Cardinals and made nine starts in 2004 -- one year after starting all 16 games.
Spikes, a six-year NFL veteran, was originally selected by the St. Louis Rams in the fifth round of 1999 NFL Draft. Spikes won a Super Bowl in his first professional season as a member of the world champion Rams.
Spikes, who starred at Texas A&M, also played for the Houston Texans in 2002.
