The Miami Dolphins signed free agent defensive tackle Keith Traylor to a two-year contract on Monday. Financial terms were not released.
Traylor, a 14-year NFL veteran, was released by New England on May 4. He played in all 16 games for the Super Bowl champion Patriots last season, including 10 starts, and recorded 28 tackles, including 23 solo.
The 35-year-old Traylor was a third-round draft choice of Denver in 1991. He played linebacker his first three years in the league before making the move to the defensive line.
Traylor was a member of the Broncos from 1991-92 and again from 1997-2000, helping Denver to pair of Super Bowl titles.
In addition to New England and Denver, Traylor also has played for Green Bay, Kansas City and Chicago. For his career, he has totaled 329 tackles (259 solo), 13 sacks and two interceptions.
To make room for Traylor on the roster, Miami waived linebacker Billy Strother.
