Tennessee Titans wide receiver Drew Bennett had surgery on Monday to fix a dislocated thumb he suffered in Sunday's 31-23 loss to the Cincinnati Bengals.
The training staff attempted to set Bennett's thumb, but could not get it to stay and as a result, the surgery was needed. According to head coach Jeff Fisher, Bennett is expected to be out at least the next two weeks and maybe longer.
"They had to put a pin in (his thumb) and he will be out for an indefinite period of time," said Fisher. "We'll just see how quickly he comes around."
Bennett finished the game with seven catches for 61 yards. He has 26 receptions for 407 yards with one TD this season, one year after recording 80 catches for 1,247 yards and 11 scores.
Tyrone Calico and Roydell Williams will each see more action due to the injury.
