Chicago Bears wide receiver Mark Bradley will miss the remainder of the season because of a torn ACL in his right knee.
Bradley was hurt in the second quarter of Sunday's game against Detroit and tests on Monday revealed the severity of the injury.
"It's a setback for him, but he'll come back from it," Bears head coach Lovie Smith said. "It's hard when you see a young player go down like that."
Bradley caught an out pattern and landed awkwardly on his right knee while running after the catch in Detroit territory. He was carted off the field and did not return.
The rookie from Oklahoma was Kyle Orton's favorite target in the first half, catching five passes for 88 yards. Bradley finished the season with 18 receptions for 230 yards.
