The Toledo Rockets announced that they will play in the GMAC Bowl on December 21 at Ladd-Peebles Stadium in Mobile, Alabama. An opponent from Conference USA has yet to be determined. "We are excited to have Toledo coming to the GMAC Bowl for the first time," GMAC Bowl president Jerry Silverstein said. "Toledo has been very dominate in the MAC and we are lucky to have them." Toledo is co-champion of the West Division of the Mid-American Conference and finished the season with an 8-3 mark, including a 6-2 record in the league. The Rockets will be playing in their fourth postseason appearance in the last five years and 10th overall.
