Graham Poll learned on Monday that he will referee the UEFA Cup Final between Sporting Club and CSKA Moscow in Lisbon on Wednesday. The assistant referees will be Glenn Turner and Mike Tingey, while Steve Bennett was appointed the fourth official. The 41-year-old Poll is a sales manager, just outside of London. He has been working the middle since 1991 and blew the whistle in his first English Premier League match in 1993. He was put on the international referees' list in 1996. Poll has refereed six Champions League matches this season, in addition to a 2006 World Cup qualifying match.
